River View Hotel is built on the historic Singapore River with the Promenade at the front door that links Clark Quay, Boat Quay and Empress Place, Singapore's center of eateries, nightlife and shopping. Orchard Road shopping areas are just minutes away. The Hotel have views over the entire island from almost every room. River View Hotel will be doing refurbishment project for the guestrooms, suites and room corridors. The refurbishment project will commence on 15th November 2005 and will be completed floor by floor. The scheduled date of completion will be in the 3rd quarter of 2006.
